Chairman of Swadesh Mrittika got honor for social service

Md. Akbar Hossain, Chairman of Swadesh Mititika Manob Unnayan Songstha and Swadesh Mititika Adarsh ​​Bidyaniketan, was awarded the Nelson Mandela Peace Award-2024 for "Service to Society". 

Md. Akbar Hossain, chairman of Swadesh Mititika Manob Unnayan Songstha and Swadesh Mititika Adarsh ​​Bidyaniketan, has received certificates and mementos from many non-governmental organizations and institutions for his special contribution to liberation and social service in the past.

The Nelson Mandela Peace Award-2024 was awarded as a joint initiative of SAARC Cultural Council and Asia Swapnapuri Foundation as a means of poverty alleviation and successful social service.

On Saturday 19th October 2024 at 4.30 pm at Bangladesh National Museum, Kavi Sufia Kamal Auditorium, Shahbagh, Dhaka, a discussion meeting, drawing competition, meritorious and cultural programs have been organized on the occasion of World Girl Child Day celebration.

Chairman Md. Akbar Hossain was presented with a letter of appreciation in recognition of his glorious achievement.

Justice Faisal Mahmud Faizi Bangladesh Supreme Court was present as the chief guest in the event.

Media and cultural personality Bejabudaula Chowdhury was present as the main discussant.
