Swadeshmritika Adarsh Bidyaniketan – Narsingdi Branch(A path of light for underprivileged children) Swadesh Mritika Adarsh Bidyaniketan, run by Swadesh Mritika Manab Unnayan Sangstha, is an exceptional educational institution that is working to bring the light of education to the underprivileged and poor children of the society. The school is run based on human values and the ideals of social service.
Our goal is to provide free quality education, food, clothing, and moral values to those children who fall behind in general education institutions due to family financial hardship, social deprivation, or backwardness.
The school has experienced and dedicated teachers who are constantly working to develop children into good human beings, not just academics. Here, special emphasis is given to cultural practices, moral education, health awareness and social service activities outside the textbooks.
Swadesh Mritika Adarsh Bidyaniketan believes — “Every child is a lamp, if given a little care, they too can spread light.” Therefore, we are working relentlessly so that these children can one day become self-reliant, dreamers and patriotic citizens.
However, it is impossible to bring all sections of the people under the formal education system. A large number of children cannot enter the education system due to various reasons; these include poverty and rising inequality, widening disparities in educational opportunities and facilities, poor class attendance and alarming dropout rates, lack of skilled teachers, lack of scientific curriculum, high cost of school-education, imposition of newer systems of education without proper teachers-training programs, etc.
